The spring piano recital this year went smoothly and was just beautiful. I had no problems with the recital room (here in my community clubhouse) and the piano was tuned better than ever before! The students performed beautifully. I was so proud of each and every one of my students!! Watching all of the beaming and proud smiling parents was a joy to observe as well.
The annual piano recital gives students a chance to showcase their talents as well as the progress that he or she has made during the academic year. The students in my piano studio enjoy the recital because they know it is low pressure and a great way to perform in front of their fellow student peers, friends, and family.
As a teacher I get to see the fruits of my efforts as a teacher as the recital demonstrates this first hand. I love to see 10 year old students who I started teaching at age 5 blossom into fine little musicians. Seeing a student go from “Old MacDonald” to a Clementi Sonatina is exciting indeed.
I will be adding some pictures as well as some video clips of the annual recital for all of you to see very shortly.
Thanks again students and parents for everything!
Have a great summer!!!
